Soneco®, our liquid chemical-free water treatment system, is among the very best in sustainable water treatment and eco-friendly water treatment solutions. It offers effective and low-cost water treatment that will help you meet UN sustainable development goals.
Unlike liquid-chemical solutions, Soneco® uses a liquid chemical-free process (electrolysis) to treat wastewater, avoiding the use of harmful and unsafe substances.
In this way, electrolysis water treatment systems are inherently more environmentally friendly than alternative solutions. Additionally, with built-in ultrasound technology, Soneco® offers better energy efficiency and therefore, a lower carbon footprint, than other electrolysis systems.
Not only are liquid chemicals harmful to the environment, their use poses health and safety risks for the staff handling them. Meeting these standards may require the installation of additional infrastructure (e.g., showers, potable water delivery and bunding) to meet safety regulations. With Soneco® , this is unnecessary.
Water treatment systems that use electrolysis undergo a process called passivation that makes the process less-effective over time. Importantly, Soneco® is passivation resistant.
Soneco® uses ultrasound technology to prevent the build-up of materials on the electrodes. This means that Soneco® electrodes last longer before needing to be replaced.
Our passivation proof treatment system also reduces your power consumption, as fouled electrodes require a greater amount of energy to effectively operate.
