P&W TRIALS AT SCOTTISH WATER'S DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

P&W TRIALS AT SCOTTISH WATER'S DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

15 November 2022

We are all packed up and feeling positive about what we have achieved over the past 12 weeks at Scottish Water’s Development Centre in Bo’ness. The power cost of running our technology over 12 weeks came to less than £50, we are incredibly pleased with these results.

We have loved showcasing our low power, patented process, and our collaboration with Mecana, which has reinforced our company's liquid chemical free alternative processes. We have successfully shown how our technology can be inserted seamlessly into existing wastewater treatment processes to ensure treatment of water to a dischargeable quality. We were able to run our patented Sono-Electrocoagulation system with outstanding results, achieving effluent phosphorus to below 0.2mg/l.

Working at Scottish Water’s Development Centre has allowed us to reinforce the performance of our patented #Soneco reactor, meeting our aims of:

Maintaining water quality in local watercourses

Reducing the carbon footprint of water utilities

Lowering the costs of wastewater treatment

Our R&D commitment keeps us curious and drives us to tackle the detrimental use of liquid chemical dosing as a form of waste-water treatment.

The results from our trial at Scottish Water will be published shortly.
